Dutch Eredivisie: Okoye Target A Better Season As Club Refuses To Let Him Go

Just as the club resumed training this week, Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye is already eyeing a good season with Dutch Eredivisie side Sparta Rotterdam, BSNSports.com.ng can reports.
The Nigeria youngster has an amazing season with the Dutch club last season and was ranked as one of the goalkeeper in the league.
Okoye had an interview with the club media on his last season performance and what is target are in the upcoming season.
"I'm proud of what I achieved last season but I'm never satisfied . I can't wait for upcoming season season.
I'm proud of that last season as a team we break records and create history together.
"When I signed for Sparta I have no expectations but I know the reason in-game here, so it's up to myself to work hard. Next season I want to improve and achieve new level for myself and have beautiful season with the team", he said.
Meanwhile the club coach, Henk Fraser has said he is not ready to lose Okoye for any amount of money.
"I don’t want to lose Maduka, not even for ten million euros," he said.
Okoye last season played 28 matches in which he kept 10 clean sheet and was announced as the club player of the year.
