Dutch League: Dessers Delighted To Score For Feynoord, Rejects Supersub Tag

Nigeria's Super Eagles forward, Cyril Dessers, was excited to have handed Feyenoord another win in the Dutch Eredivisie but rejected the super-sub tag placed on him by club fans, BSNsports.com.ng cam report.
Dessers came in the 66th minute for Linsen on Sunday afternoon against Sparta Rotterdam and scored the winning goal in the 92nd minute.
Since joining Feynoord on loan from the Belgian Jupiler league club RKC Genk, Dessers has been playing as substitute and all his goals have came late in the games.
"It can go fast," he told ESPN afterwards. "So far I have scored all my goals for Feyenoord in extra time, so you quickly get the label supersub. I'd rather not.
"I'm just glad I was able to help the team today. They are very nice points for us."
it is extra good after he received some criticism after the game against RKC (2-2) fourteen days ago.
"I did have a bad night after RKC, I can say. I did suffer from that for two or three days.
"When you start for Feyenoord for the first time in De Kuip, you really want to show it. If you miss an important chance at the end, you will feel bad for a while," he said.
