Dutch League: Injured Okoye Misses AZ Alkmaar Game Sampson Adedeji Nigeria's Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, was conspicuously missing on Sunday whose club Sparta Rotterdam clash against AZ Alkmaar, BSNsports.com.ng can report. The youngster goalkeeper was replaced by Benjamin Van Leer last weekend against Ajax Amsterdam after he sustained a shoulder injury. According to the club, Okoye the shoulder injury was not that bad and he won't be out for a long time. "Sparta Rotterdam goalkeeper Maduka Okoye just informed us that his shoulder injury is not that bad. The keeper expects to be able to play against AZ again next Sunday. Okoye had to be sidelined against Ajax with pain,” the report said. Okoye was missing on Sunday as Sparta face AZ Alkmaar at home.
