Dynamite Force Boss, Bernard Joman Paid N5m To Regain Freedom From Abductors

Comrade Bernard Joman, President Dynamite Force Football Club of Iyahmo, said his family paid a N5 million ransom to the kidnappers to effect his release from abductors on Sunday night.
The sole financier of the Nigeria National League side, was abducted by unknown gunmen on Friday December 20, 2019, on Lokoja-Okene road around the hours of 7pm to 8pm while on his way from Abuja to Edo State.
He was released following the payment of the ransom to the kidnappers.
Bernard while recounting his ordeal from the abductors revealed that his family paid the sum of N5 million to secure his release after nine (9) days in their camp.
"They (kidnappers) collected five (5) million Naira from my wife to secure my release.
“I am happy to be back unhurt with my family. I can assure you that it’s not an experience that you’ll want to have.
"I want to tell you that there’s nothing more frightening than one been a victim to kidnappers, as you don’t even know what would happen to you next."
Bernard who's also a Director representing South South Zone on the Nationwide League One NLO board expressed profound gratitude to the Nigeria football family for showing concern during his ordeal.
"I appreciate the Nigeria football fraternity for their prayers and staying in touch with my family."
Dynamite Force are third on the Group B1 log of the 2019/2020 Nigeria National League with 9 points from five games and will be up against Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan, on Sunday January 12, 2020 when the league resumes from Christmas and New Year break.
