Two Super Eagles players, Kenneth Omeruo and Ramon Azeez slugged it out with each other in the colours of their respective clubs in the Spanish LaLiga match-day 31 league encounter played on Monday night, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

While Omeruo saw 90 minutes action for relegation struggling Leganes, Ramon Azeez was substituted in the 46th minute making way for Yan Brice Eteki in the barren draw encounter.

Omeruo's compatriot, Chidozie Awaziem who has been a regular player for Leganes since the league return was an unused substitute as his team leapfrog RCD Espanyol to be placed 19th with 25 points in 31 matches.

Injured Anthony Nwakaeme

In Turkey, Trabzonspor was without Super Eagles striker, Anthony Nwakaeme who missed the match due to injury. Trabzonspor were denied the opportunity to be on the same point with table topper, Basakshir after being held 2-2 at home by Alanyaspor.

Both teams were reduced to 10 as Alanyaspor left back Fabice Nsakala received two yellow card while Trabzonspor center defender, Majid Hosseini was shown straight red card by the center referee, Atilla Karaoglan.

Trabzonspor have 57 points from 28 games two points adrift table topper, Basakshir.
