Eagles Training Ahead AFCON: Sodeeq Umar, Iheanacho, Onyekuru On Score Sheet As Team Red Defeat Team Green 4-2 By BSN Sports Those in attendance at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja were treated to a highly competitive Super Eagles training session today with Sadiq Umar giving another reason he could be the first choice striker at the Africa Cup of Nations while Kelechi Iheanacho mesmerised opposing defenders. Team Red defeated Team Green 4-2, with Umar hitting three goals for the winning side. Onyekuru also got his name on the score sheet. Kelechi Iheanacho accounted for two goals in the colours of Team Green who also had William Troost-Ekong and Kenneth Omeruo on parade. Team Red include; Akpeyi, Olisah Ndah, Olayinka, Chidozie, Seidu Zanusi, Taiwo, Moses, Onyekuru, Sodeeq Umar, Ejuke while Team Green has Maduka, Semi Ajayi, Ekong, Omeruo, Iwobi Onyeka, Ola Aina, Nwakali, Iheanacho, Musa, Ndidi. Playmaker Kelechi Nwakali dazzled at the entertaining session with his excellent passes at the middle of the park. It was the first two-a-side training since the Eagles began training in December 29 ahead of the AFCON in Cameroon. The Super Eagles will fly out to Garoua, Cameroon on Wednesday evening. The Eagles will start their AFCON campaign on 11 January in Garoua city, where they meet Egypt in Group D, which also includes Sudan and Guinea Bissau. -FutballGalore
