Golden Eaglets’ head coach, Manu Garba, is looking to fortify his team ahead of the CAF U-17 African Cup of Nations in Tanzania.
Garba said he needed to work more on his goalkeeping and attacking departments of his side.
The coach who led the Golden Eaglets to the FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2013 stressed that some players had been discovered and would be invited when the team come back from the Turkish Invitational Tournament.
“We still have to fortify some departments, the goal keeping and the attacking areas; we have to scout for a centre forward,” Garba told newtelegraphng.com
“We need players who can strengthen the team; so that we can do much better than we did in Niger during the WAFU tournament.
“I am really impressed we have noticed some players during the little period we spent and when we come back from Turkey, we are going to invite such players so that they can fight places in the team,” he said.
