Ebere Orji Wins Player Of The Month In Sweden

The profile of the Nigeria's Super Falcons striker Ebere Orji continued to grow in Sweden's Damallsvenskan league, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Th former Delta Queen and Rivers Angels attacker joined Linkoping this year from Umea where she has an illustrious career.

She was named the player of the month for July on Friday after scoring 5 goals and one assists in 7 matches.

She was also given a prize money of 10,000 Swedish Krona (N527,000).

Orji made her senior debut for Nigeria in a friendly against Germany, however she was substituted after 29 minutes and Nigeria went on to lose 8–0.

Orji was part of the Nigeria squad that won the 2010 African Women's Championship.

She also made appearances at the 2012 African Women's Championship.
