  Edo 2020: "Lack of Facilities May Affect Commencement of Wrestling Event" - Igali Reveals By Niyi Busari President of Nigeria Wrestling Federation, Daniel Igali has revealed that lack of facility may hamper the commencement of wrestling event scheduled to start on Sunday, BSNSports.com.ng can report. Igali made this known when speaking with BSN Sports at the Cultural Center, Benin City where he watched Team Bayelsa won two gold medals in Kokowa. The Bayelsa State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development stated that Edo State government could only provide one mat when the Federation requested for three. He added that Edo State Deputy Governor, Phillip Shuaibu has promised to provide the facilities before the commencement of the event on Sunday. "What I am hearing right now is that we don't have the facilities for wrestling. We have only one wrestling mat and we need three mats for the events. I mentioned it to the Deputy Governor (Phillip Shuaibu) that we don't have enough facilities for the event and I was promised that facilities will be provided. So, I still keep my fingers crossed but I can tell you that at the point of organisation the Wrestling Federation is ready." The wrestling event starts on Sunday while the technical meeting holds on Saturday.
