Edo 2020: FCT FA Chairman Doles Out N250k To FCT Football Team

Chairman, FCT Football Association, Alh. Adams Muktar Mohammed has promised to give the FCT Men Football team the sum of Two hundred and fifty thousand naira (N250,000) for their excellent performance in the football event at the ongoing North Central Elimination for the 2020 National Sports Festival.

In his word: "Before they left Abuja, i knew that the team will not disappoint us. We have a good preparations and have couple of warm up matches to put them in good shape ahead of the North Central Elimination."

"I must congratulate the FCT Sports Department headed by Chief Mrs Dilichukwu Onyendinma, the FCT, Minister of State and the FCT Minister for the support and the sampling environment given to us to achieve the feat.

"For the football excellent performance, i will give them the sum of N250,000 for inning all their group matches and picked a ticket for Edo 2020."

Adams made this known on Thursday in Abuja after the team's third group win. The defending champions pummelled Team Kogi football team 7-1 in their first match, defeated Team Niger 3-0 (walk over) and pipped Kwara 1-0 on Thursday.

FCT Male Football team are the first to pick one of the two tickets available to the North Central to play the game at the oncoming Edo 2020.

The 20th National Sports Festival is scheduled to hold in Edo state in March.
