Edo 2020: FCT Minister, Director of Sports, Athletes To Receive Unity Torch

Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Malam Muhammed Bello, Director, Department of Sports, Dilichukwu Onyedinma will on Monday receive the National Sports Festival Torch in Abuja, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The Unity Torch which is scheduled to arrive City Gate where it will be handed to the minister will see all the participating athletes that will represent FCT at the oncoming National Sports Festival dressed in their green colour track suit to be part of the event .

The torch arrived Aso Villa on Thursday where the President Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari kicked off the nationwide movement of the torch. On Friday, it moved to Plateau state where the government received it and promised its contingents to Edo 2020 a well packaged welfare.

The Unity Torch is expected to be handed to Niger state government on Tuesday from where it moves to Kwara state.
