  Injured Team Delta's Footballer Abandoned In Medical Center By Niyi Busari Team Delta's striker, Jennifer Ajunya who sustained injury during their semifinal match against Team Edo was left unattended to for six hours without treatment, BSNSpprts.com.ng reports. Team Edo pipped Team Delta 1-0 in the semifinal of the women's football event to set up a final date with Team Lagos. Edo goalkeeper had brought down the striker when on one-on-one trying to dribble past the keeper. Jennifer was crying in pain when our correspondence met her unattended to on a stretcher inside the clinic in the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium. Speaking with BSN Sports, she said: "I am in pain. And no one is attending to me. They took the X-ray result away since six hours ago and never return to attend to me." The pain killer given to me earlier has expired and pains returned. I don't even understand what's happening now. I have been here since morning and no one is attending to me. I am suspecting a foul play. Those who came with leg and arm injuries after me have been treated so why am I still left here since 10:00 am till 4pm? We thought it was a minor thing until she was sent to medical stand where she was referred to University of Benin Teaching Hospital and when we got there we were referred to Hospital inside the stadium after the X-ray on her knee. A"the hospital inside the Samuel Ogbemudia stadium we have been here since but the doctor told us that they will attend to her after examination of the X-ray." He concluded. Since we are here, no one has spoken to us after six hours and when they finished they will tell us how the leg is. They're the professionals, we are waiting for their analysis."
