Edo Queens Coach Debunks Report of Camp Robbery As Gov Set To Move Team To New Camp

The Technical Adviser of Edo Queens Football Club of Benin, Gabriel Adejor has denied the recent reports on social media that armed robbers invaded the camp of the club during the week.
Coach Adejor made the clarification at the weekend to correct the wrong impression created by the fake alarmist that the safety and welfare of the female footballers is undermined by the handlers of the club and Edo Government.
Adejor in his reaction described the rumour as fake, adding that those involved are mischief makers and enemies of Edo Queen managers whose aim is to destroy the good image of the club and Edo government.
He described the act as total embarrassment to the entire state and the management team, saying that the authorities have directed that the issue be investigated to unravel the circumstances surrounding all that happened and as well unmask insiders involved for appropriate sanctions to be applied.
"For the avoidance of doubt,our players have already proceeded on three Weeks Break as at the time the false alarm was raised. Players were not supposed to be seen in camp, and none of our players was robbed. I was astonished when I heard of the report. If there was any incident of such at all around the camp,definitely not on Edo Queens." Adejor emphasized.
‘’I want to use this medium to tell our numerous fans in the state and beyond that what they have read on the social media about armed robbers invading Edo Queens' camp should be disregard." He said
Meanwhile, Coach Adejor has said that Edo Queens will soon relocate to a new and permanent camp built by Edo state Government.
