Edo State Deputy Gov Promises Bendel Insurance N1m Per Goal

Bendel Insurance striker and Edo State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Comrade Phillip Shuaibu has promised Bendel Insurance a whopping One million (N1m) naira on each goal the team score in their NPFL week 10 encounter against Rivers United today, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The sport-loving deputy Governor made this declaration shortly after an evening training session with the team on Tuesday.

The comrade who noted that the Benin Arsenal are not a high scoring side charges them to go all out and score more goals in their home NPFL tie against Rivers United.

"You know we can't afford to lose the home game, therefore we must play better than the opponent. We don't want you to play under pressure because we need three points but play as a team and score more goals.

"You know how we do it, score a goal and get N1m for each goal the team score. So, if you beat Rivers United by three unreplied goals you get N3m and if you score more than that it keeps increasing but if you allow them to score against us, it is going to be a minus."
