Edo SWAN Salutes Igbinedion At 63

Edo State Chapter of Sports Writers' Association of Nigeria, SWAN, has joined other well wishers across the World to congratulate Lucky Igbinedion as he clocks 63 years today.

The Association described the former  Executive Governor of the state as ‘an evergreen face of democracy, peace builder and freedom.

In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman of the state Chapter, Comrade Moses Idahosa  and the Secretary, Comrade Timothy Omobude wished him continued good health and wisdom.

"As our Patron, we are pledging our undivided support for you, while hoping that your special day will bring you lots of happiness, love, and fun", the statement reads.

According to the statement, the passion and patriotism of the sports loving SWAN Patron whose contributions to Edo State Sports development can’t be over emphasized, has also contributed to the growth and development of Edo state and the nation at large.

SWAN wished him more strength and peaceful years ahead.
