EFCC Invitation: Sanusi Allegedly Alters Documents To Save Amaju Pinnick, Others. …documents and board meeting minutes are allegedly being doctored to reflect approval of the mediterranean sports and financial derivatives …how was the monies realised disbursed? By Lamorde Haruna Following the widely publicised EFCC invitation of top members in Amaju Pinnick led board, the invitation letter which was released on Friday from the office of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports stated that some of the top NFF officials whose names are on the invitation list are allegedly doing everything possible through the secretary general in making sure that they are not caught unaware by removing and adding into figures, signature into documents to prove that they are clean. One of the board members during Amaju Pinnick reign as NFF president who preferred his name not mentioned revealed to BSN Sports that Dr. Sanusi Mohammed is allegedly doing everything possible to save himself, former NFF president Amaju Pinnick, Ahmed Yusuf Fresh, Alh Shehu Dikko, Seyi Akinwumi (who have been invited by the EFCC), hence allegedly altered, doctored and changed documents and board meeting minutes to reflect approval of the board for the appointments of the following as the consultants of the NFF; the mediterrenean sports and financial derivatives. Also various percentage as commission are being input into the new minutes. The alleged altering of the minutes according to the reliable source, is a deliberate attempt to cover up all the dirty deals some of which will be unveiled when these questions are raised; What happened in respect of the last world cup friendly match in Port Harcourt? Did the cash $28,000 and N100 million paid into NFF account? Did the board approve the spending of the money? What is the approving limit of the NFF president? How was the money disbursed? What was realised from all the friendly matches played by the Super Eagles as revenue to NFF and did these revenues paid into NFF account? Who approved the spending of the income from the friendly games? What happened to revenue from other sources like; a) Sponsors b) Monthly subventions and special fund allocation from the NFF The aggrieved board member stated further that most of the deals during their four years reign in office were always executed by both Amaju Pinnick and Alh. Shehu Dikko while other board members were sidelined and not carried along. Sanusi Mohammed’s moves is aimed at perfecting the documents and make it look as if all board members knew and approved their dirty deals. www.bsnsport.com.ng correspondent close to the glass house also scooped that Dr. Sanusi wanted to perfect all the necessary documents before they honour the EFCC invitation. “Most of us (board members) do not know anything when it comes contract deals and other financial dealings. Only the then NFF president Amaju Pinnick and his second vice president Shehu Dikko have always involved in all the deals. “So, in order to save himself, Amaju Pinnick and other top board members Dr Sanusi has changed, altered and doctored some documents so as to safe themselves from EFCC embarrassment.” The former board member concluded. In his response through a phone call, Dr Sanusi denied such action and said there was nothing like that as someone of his calibre and impeccable character cannot attempt to do such a criminal act that is capable of affecting the name he has struggled to build for years. "There was nothing like that, how could I have done such thing when I know that such action can drag my reputable name into the mud. It is just one of those unconfirmed, malicious allegation and rumours that is targeted at bringing me down." Dr Sanusi said.
