EFL Cup: Iheanacho on target in Leicester city win

Nigeria's Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho made a scoring return to the Leicester City team on Tuesday in the Carabao cup when he put his ahead in the 7th minute, BSNSports.com.ng reports .

The former Manchester city attacker has fell down the pecking order in the striking options at the KC Stadium and justified his start against Burton Albion

It was sweet story for the Nigeria attacker as he opened the scoring in 7th minute through Youri Tielsman assist.

Belgian international Youri Tielsman doubled the advantage making it 2-0 in the 20th minute before Liam Boyce halved the deficit for the visitors in the 58th minute.

Iheanacho was substituted in the 66th minute for Harvey Barnes before James Maddisson made it 3-1 later in the game.

Meanwhile, Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was introduced in the 88th minute of the match.
