Ryan Donk gave Galatasaray the lead after 31 minutes off a corner kick from Serdar Aziz. Martin Linnes made it 2-0 two minutes into the second half from another corner. Fenerbahce fought back and got a goal through a penalty from Mathieu Valbuena. The Frenchman provided an assist for Jailson to draw Fenerbahce level in the 72nd minute. Onyekuru will be hoping to make his third appearance for Galatasaray next Tuesday when they face Schalke 04 at the Veltins Arena in the Uefa champions league. The 21 year old has been named as one of the five standby players for Nigeria’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa which will hold on the 17th November, 2018.
