Weiler departed the North African club after helping them to the league title with games to spare but never ended the season with the club. Ahly is expected to pay Weiler a huge $450,000 as a winning bonus of the league title. South Africa Pitso Mosimane has since replaced Weiler as the head coach of the club. Th former Mamelodi Sundown gaffer will earn same amount of money if he succeeded in leading the club to the CAF champions league title. Ahly has already qualified for the final of the competition after edging out the Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca.
