Egypt Bid To U23 AFCON, Champions League Final

Egypt Football Federation (EFA) has submitted bid to host the next U20 African Cup Of Nations in 2023 and 2021 champions league final, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (previously known as the African Youth Championship or the African U-20 Championship) is the main international youth football competition for CAF nations, and is competed for by under 20 year olds.
It is held every two years with the top 4 teams qualifying for the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
In August 2015, the CAF Executive Committee decided to change the name of the tournament from the African Youth Championship to the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, similar to the senior's version, Africa Cup of Nations.
Africa soccer governing body few weeks back opened bid for its competition and Egypt on Wednesday announced its intention to host the championship.
Mauritania hosted this year edition with Black Satellites of Ghana emerged winner, Uganda came second while Gambia finished in third position.
Meanwhile, Egypt has also submitted bid to host 2021 CAF champions league final at Cairo international stadium.
Egypt hosted the 2020 final at Cairo international stadium involving eventual champion Al Ahly and rival Zamalek.
