Egypt FA Proposes Reduction Of Foreign Players in Their Leagues

Despite the break in the ongoing league due to outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic, the Egypt Football Association (EFA) continue to work ahead of the resumption.

The outbreak of Corona virus which halted the league has also gave the league body to think I'm a new directions, BSN Reports.

The reports coming from Egypt indicated that the EFA proposed reduction of foreign players in the elite division from 5 to 4, while the 2nd division can only sign 2 foreign players.

The lower were not giving the opportunity to sign foreign players which means all the players in the Egyptian lower division are indigenous players.

Al-Ahly who has Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Junior Ajayi on its payroll is presently the defending champions.

The proposed resumption date for the league remained end of April.
