Egypt's El Hadary enters Guinness book of world records

Egypt goalkeeper at the 2018 World Cup in Russia Essam El Hadary has been included in the Guinness book of record after emerging the oldest player to play at the FIFA World Cup finals, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
After appearing at the Russia 2018 World Cup for Egypt, goalkeeper Essam El Hadary has been named in the Guinness book of world records for 2020.
Hadary was in goal for the North African country 2-1 loss to Saudi Arabia in the last group match at the age of 45 years 161 days.
He was adjudged to be the oldest goalkeeper to have played at the World cup final.
El Hadary has made over 150 international appearances for his nation since his debut in 1996. He has won the Africa Cup of Nations four times, and was named the tournament's best goalkeeper on three occasions.
