Eid-Fitri: FCT FA Felicitates With Muslim Faithful

Federal Capital Territory Football Association felicitates with Muslim Faithful in Abuja and beyond on the occasion of this year's Eid-Fitri.

In an official statement, the Association rejoiced with all Muslims who were healthy to observe the fasting and prayed that God should use it to wipe away all the difficulties and pains presently on earth.

The Chairman of the Association, Alhaji Adams Mouktar Mohammed also urges Muslims to continue with the good deed, alms giving and peaceful co-existence with everyone as they enter into the new Islamic month of Shawwal today.

The statement which was released on Eid-Fitril day reads:
"We congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters for the successful end of Ramadan fast. The holy month of Ramadan preaches love, brotherliness, patience and perseverance which should continue beyond Ramadan for unity and progress of the society to be maintained."

"We pray Allah to accept the fast from all Muslim Faithful as an act of Ibadah and accept the fervent prayers of Muslims across the world to end the global pandemic of Covid-19, which has brought all activities to a halt," said the statement.

The chairman uses the opportunity to enjoin clubs and all FCT resident to continue obeying covid-19 guidelines as lockdown continues in Abuja.
