Ejuke fires blank as CSKA Moscow fall to Rubin Kazan

Super Eagles dribbling wizard Chidera Ejuke tried his best, but it was ultimately not enough as Rubin Kazan halted CSKA Moscow’s three-match winning streak with a last-ditch 1-0 win at the Kazan’ Arena, BSNSPorts.com.ng reports. Ejuke was replaced by Yakovlev in the 74th minute before Kostyukov netted the winning goal in stoppage time. Ejuke will aim to help the Red-Blues turn their form around when they visit PFC Sochi for their next league match on November 6th. The former Nigeria youth international has proved his goalscoring capabilities in Aleksei Berezutski's team since he joined from Dutch Eredivisie club Heerenveen in August 2020
