Ekene Returns As General Manager Remo Stars, Promises Bright Future For Club

Ekene Adams is back in Nigeria to lead Remo Stars to glory in the 2021/22 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season.
Ekene undergone a successful surgery in Europe where he spent few weeks before his return to Nigeria to take his position at Remo Stars.
The former proprietor of defunct Kada City FC was unveiled as General Manager of the Club immediately after the team gained promotion to play in the elite League.
The club also appointed Lukman Ogunbefun as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ogun State based club.

believed that the new officials will guide the club to winning ways after an underwhelming campaign in their pre-season games ahead of the NPFL commencement.
“I charge you both to work together and bring this team, which is the pride of the Southwest and Nigeria, to winning ways in the NPFL, which I know is very possible with cooperation from both parties,” the proprietor told the new club officials following their overwhelming performance in their preparatory matches.
While addressing the team ahead of their trip to Ilorin for their friendly match engagement with Kwara United, Ekene reassured the fans that the club is well prepared to go ahead and pick a ticket to play at the Continent. He however, showered praises on Hon Kunle Soname for his support and always standing by him.
"I am happy to be back. I also want to seize this opportunity to thank Hon Kunle Soname for his support and efforts in making sure that the trip to do the surgery was successful.
"I am confident with what I have seen so far that Remo Stars will at the end of the season pick a ticket to play at the CAF Club competition."
Remo Stars humiliated Kwara United 4-1 in the friendly match at the Remo Stars stadium and will be looking forward to maintain the same performance when both teams meet this morning at the Kwara State stadium in Ilorin in another friendly match.
