Ekong Set For Watford Debut

After completing his move to the Championship club, Watford FC this week, Super Eagles defender, William Troost Ekong, is set to make his debut on Saturday against Reading, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The former Bursaspor of Turkey player joined the Hornets on a 5 year deal from Serie A side, Udinese.

He resumed training immediately with the club which positioned him for a debut on Saturday against Reading.

Watford coach, Vladimir Ivic, confirmed during press conference that Ekong is in line for his debut in the Match Day 4.

"For me it (Saturday) is not too soon. He is ready to play and one of the solutions for us", he said.

Watford remained the only team that is yet to concede in the championship this season and has won all the 3 matches.
