Super Eagles and Udinese defender, William Trooist-Ekong did well in making sure his team went away with the slim 1-0 home win against Torino in their match-day 8 league encounter at the Dacia Arena, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

William compatriot, Ola Aina whose team lost to the hosts was an unused substitute as he returns from injury he sustained fortnight ago during their Italia Serie A league match.

Stephano Okaka a player of Nigerian decent 42nd minute goal was all Udinese needed to claim the available three points when cleverly slotted in a great pass from Rolando Mandragova.

Stephano was however booked in the 80th minute as the Italian center referee Rosairo Abisso sounded his whistle at the 93rd minute.

The win placed Udinese in the 12th position while the visitors are 11th on the log with superior goal difference.

Both teams are on the same points (10) but Torino are better with goal difference. Torino have -1 goal difference while Udinese have -2.
