Ekong signs contract extension with Udinese

Following his impressive performance in the colour of Italia Serie A side, BSNSports.com.ng can report that Nigeria's Super Eagles defender WilliamTroost Ekong has signed a new 4-year deal with Udinese.

Ekong joined Udinese in August 2018 after a successful loan spell from Turkish Super Lig side Bursaspor and has been a regular player with club since then.

The agreement signed on Wednesday indicated that the deal will terminated on June 30th 2023.

The reliable defender has made 45 appearances for the Juventus based side and has been one of the outstanding player for the club.

Ekong will be in action when Nigeria take Benin and Lesotho in the 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifier next week.
