El Clásico by the numbers

Football's biggest football match happens this weekend at the Camp Nou as Barcelona entertain Real Madrid in the first El Clasico match.  Both teams go into the match on the back of disappointing losses last time out, Barcelona losing 1-0 away to Getafe,  with Madrid also going down by the same margin against Cardiz. Ahead of the clash, here are some numbers worth looking at.

This is the first time in the history of the clash that the match will be played behind closed doors, as a result of the coronavirus.

Neto, Dest, Araujo, Junior Firpo, Pjanić, Riqui Puig, Pedri, and Trincão have never played in El Clasico before, even though some have faced Real Madrid with different teams.

The Dutchman is not new to the El Clasico, having played in 14 of them. This is however the first time he will be taking part as manager.
