Emem Eduok seals victory for Hajduk Split in Croatia

Nigerian international, Emem Eduok scored a second half goal to seal a 2-1 victory for Hajduk Split against Slaven in a  Croatian top division match played at Stadion Puljud.

Eduok who was making his second start since the return of the league in May scored his 10th goal of the season in the 59th minute.

The goal came after Mijo Caktas gave Hajdik Split the lead from the penalty spot in the 10th minute and a leveller by the visitors through  Vinko Medimorec in the 24th minute.

Emem who was making his 15th appearance for his club this season then sealed the victory for Coach Igor Tudor's side who now sits second on the Croatian league table with 54 points from 31 games and still chasing Champions League place next season.

The team makes a trip to 6th placed HNK Gorica on Tuesday in the midweek fixture.
