  Emenalo Set To Join AS Roma By Sampson Adedeji Former Nigeria's Super Eagles defender, Michael Emenalo, is set to be announced as the new Sporting Director for the Italia Serie A side, AS Roma, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The former Director of Sports at Chelsea and Monaco is one of the candidates looking forward to occupy the position of new Director of sport of the Serie A giants after the Giallorossi sacked Gianluca Petrachi in the summer. Emenalo has reportedly agreed to join Roma but the club is yet to make a final decision. The Nigerian has met Roma's owners in London and has reportedly received guarantees on the autonomy he would have covering the role with Dan Friedkin who was conquered by his gentle attitude. Emenalo was part of Nigeria's Super Eagles team to USA '94 World Cup under Clemens Westernof.
