FC Colgne loanee Emmanuel Dennis has told fans of the club he can do much more than he has done in the five games he has played for the club since his loan move from Club Brugge in Belgium last month, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Dennis scored a goal on his debut for Cologne in the German Cup competition (DFB Pokal) and the Nigerian has started all five games he has featured in thus far. “I’m not yet satisfied with my own performance. I can do a lot more than I’ve shown so far. I haven’t been able to show my game yet,” the Nigerian international forward said in an interview on the club’s official website. Dennis however acknowledges he has to bid his time at the club,get properly used to his new environment and work very hard. “I have to be patient, work hard and then the performance will come. Sometimes things don’t go as you imagine. That’s part of football. I stay positive.” With the help of the two other Nigerians at the club,Kingsley Ehizibue and Tolu Arokodare,Dennis has been able to navigate his way around the bustling city of Cologne. ‘The guys have been wonderful.They remind me of appointments since most of the things are written in German.They translate virtually everything for me and have made my stay in Cologne enjoyable,’he said. Dennis will be hoping to score his first goal in the Bundeliga when his team travel to the Allianz Arena on Saturday to face reigning Bundesliga and European champions,bayern Munich.
