By Sampson Adedeji
After being played out of position in the last two matches, Everton FC coach, Carlo Anceloti, has applauded Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Iwobi has been playing as wing-back for the Toffees in the last two matches against Fulham and Burnley and has been exceptional playing from a rare position.
As the team ready to face Chelsea in the match-day 12 of the league, Anceloti talked about the importance of Nigeria international to the team ahead of the encounter.
“We did better with four at the back, with two players not used to playing right-back and left-back,” said Ancelotti.
“But we were really better because the performances of Yerry Mina and Michael Keane were really good. Alex did well offensively and Ben had a good performance on the left.
It's left to be seen if Iwobi will continue in the position when they host Chelsea at the Goodison Park this weekend.
