Enugu Rangers draw Burkina side Salitas in 3rd CAF Confederation Cup group game

    10-man Enugu Rangers were held to a 1-1 draw by Salitas in a Group B CAF Confederation Cup clash at Stade du 4 Aout in Ouagadougou on Sunday, BSNSports reports. Rangers saw less of the ball than their hosts but looked more fluid in attack, having more shots through the course of the first half. Semiu Liadi was shown matching orders for a second bookable offence inside the opening half hour. However, Flying Antelopes took the lead in the 33rd minute, as Ifeanyi George got the better of goalkeeper Diakite Daouda to make it 1-0. The hosts did not stay behind for too long as Ilasse Sawadogo restore parity in the 50th minute. The result meant that Enugu Rangers remain third in group B of the CAF Confederation Cup. Reigning Aiteo Cup champions Enugu Rangers take on Etoile du Sahel in their last CAF Confederation Cup group game on Sunday, March 17 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
