Enyimba different from all other Clubs in Nigeria - Alalade By Editor Enyimba forward Wasiu Alalade says playing for the club is not the same as playing for any other side in the country, because Nigerians expect a lot from the team not just Aba fans. Enyimba failed to advance to the final of 2018 CAF Confederations Cup after they were beaten home and away by Raja Casablanca. The Aba Elephants were also knocked out of the 2018 Aiteo Cup in the quarter finals by eventual finalist Kano Pillars. The management, players and even the fans always ready to give their best. “Although, our aims was to lift the trophy but we thank God to be among the semi finalist. Its a great outing for the only club that represent Nigeria to that level,” He told African Football Forum. The former ABS youngster who will be remembered for his wonderful strike that helped Enyimba to beat Cara Brazzaville 2018 CAF Confederations Cup in Aba, revealed what it means to play for the two time African champions and his former team. “Enyimba is one of the best club in Africa and any player intending to play with them must know that he has give nothing less than 100 percent in every game, while ABS FC is one of the household club in Nigeria which usually groom young players to world standard, I never regret playing for the both football club,” He concluded.
