CAFCL : Enyimba qualify for second round as Pillars fall again

It was a mixed feelings for Nigeria representatives in the CAF champions League matches second leg played on Sunday.

Former Africa champions Enyimba International confirmed their superiority over visiting Rahimo FC of Burkina Faso at the Enyimba International stadium in Aba after slamming the opponent 5- 0, BSNSports.com.ng can report

First leg scorer Issouf Zanon was sent off in the 10th minute of the encounter for a dangerous play.

Reuben Bala opened the scoring in the 30th minute before Stanley Okorom made it 2-0 before half time

Stanley Dimgba made it 3-0 in the 77th minute before Bala completed his brace in the 86th minute.

Dimgba also completed his brace in 89th minute and ensured the People Elephant progressed 5-1 On aggregate.

Meanwhile, the result was different for Kano Pillars at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi Ghana as Asante Kotoko defeated Pillars 2 -0 .

Kelvin and Emmanuel Gyamfi were the goalscorers who made sure Kotoko subdued Pillars 4 -3 on aggregate.
