Enyimba Will Fine Tosin Omoyele Over His Attitude - Osho
By Sampson Adedeji
After missing the second leg of the play off round of the CAF Confederation Cup against Rivers United, head coach of Enyimba Fatai Osho has said striker Tosin Omoyele will have to face the consequences of his action, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Omoyele was sent off in the first leg by the centre referee for retaliation, though, Enyimba held on to the one-nil to win the game narrowly but his absence was greatly felt in the second leg.
Osho during an interview on radio with Emmanuel Ahmad on Jatto 102.7 fm, said that he must face the music for contravening the law of the game.
"He absence not to play in the second leg is fault of his, the law about this game is so clear, no matter what you don't retaliate if you do you have contravened the law and the law will have to take its course.
"Despite the fact that he was sanction by CAF, personally we will fine him also, you don't do that, you have to prove that you are discipline, no matter what your opponent would have done you don't take the law into your hand, the referee is the arbiter, let him know, that he retaliated doesn't good for him and team and that is why he will face the repercussion," he stated.
Omoyele should be back for the first match of the group stage against Ahli Benghazi of Libya slated for Enyimba international stadium in Aba.
