For the second consecutive season running, Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi continued to make headlines with mouthwatering display for Leicester City.

Ndidi moved to KC stadium during the winter transfer of 2017 and already becoming an household name for the Foxes.

Former youth international who was bought from Belgian side Genk to replace France International N'golo Kante, departed the club for Chelsea is now proving to be the best tackler in the premier league.

The mid-season stats released and available to www.bsnsports.com.ng after the first round of matches indicated that the Super Eagles midfielder has won more tackles (63) than the duo of Arsenal's Lucas Torreira (39), Kante's (33), has also intercepted play (41) more than the two players. The stats further revealed that Ndidi has more recoveries, clearances duel won and aerial duel more than the two players.

The Nigeria youngster who played pivotal role in Foxes two big win in the last five days against Chelsea and Manchester City, has played every minutes of the first round of matches for Leicester City.

Wilfred Ndidi has helped Nigeria's senior national team to qualify for the 2019 CAF African Nations Cup.
