EPL: Dennis Scores In Watford Defeat
Sampson Adedeji
It was a mixed feeling for Nigeria's Super Eagles and Watford FC winger, Emmanuel Dennis, as his goal counted for little against West Ham United on Tuesday, BSNsports.com.ng can report.
The Hornets have been out of action for more than 2 weeks due to coronavirus that has led to some games being suspended.
Watford played host to West Ham United and it ended in a 1-4 home defeat for them at the Vicarage Road.
It was Dennis that netted the opening goal earlier in the game but Czech Republic international, Soucek leveled the scoreline for the visitors in the 27th minute.
Morocco's winger Saidi Benrahma gave the visitors a 1-2 lead two minutes later and ensured that Hammers returned to the locker room with a lead.
Soon as the second-half resumed, Bowen increased the lead to 1-3 for the away side before Vlasic made it 1-4 in the 94th minute.
Dennis has been involved in 13 goals this season, scoring 8 goals with 5 assists.
