Ebere Eze's Crystal Palace lost at home to Newcastle United

Friday night football returned to the EPL after the International break with the match between Crystal Palace and Newcastle United at Selhust Park and it was the latter who stole the show BSNsports.com.ng reports.
It's been a mixed season already for Crystal Palace who many were thinking might shock the EPL this season especially with their first victory of the season coming away from home, in the first match of the season against Manchester United, but results have been mixed.
Since then they've gone on to lose as many as five games, winning just two and drawing two games to give them a total of 13 points including last night match.
Newcastle United on the other hand who have not been so convincing but got the better of Crystal Palace yesterday with 2 late goals from Callum Willson and Joeliton to move into the top have of the table.
Nigeria's Ebere Eze was on for the entire duration but couldn't performed the magic he did against Leeds United to help his team.
Crystal Palace will return to action next Sunday with a visit to poor performing West Brom while Newcastle United in another Friday night football visits Aston Villa at the Villa Park
