And he’s poised to meet Arsenal chiefs for talks about his client swapping the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan for the Emirates. Emery has now tasked Arsenal transfer chiefs Sven Mislintat and Raul Sanllehi with securing a deal for Banega to join him in north London. The duo went on to win successive Europa League titles together in 2015 and 2016 before heading their separate ways. The Argentina international has been repeatedly linked with a switch to the Premier League throughout his career, but reports suggest his agent is currently in London for talks with the Gunners.
