EPL: Everton move for Iwobi

With 24 hours to the closure of the 2019 English Premier league summer transfer window, clubs continues to scramble for players needed.

The news coming from the Goodison Park indicated that Everton Football club has tabled £30 million for Nigeria and Arsenal midfielder Alex Iwobi.

Signing of Ivorian international winger Nicolas Pepe and impending arrival of Brazil forward Philippe Coutinho further dropped the Nigeria star down the pecking order.

Iwobi has been with Arsenal since his academy days and was one of the outstanding player in the team last season.

If the deal materialised, Alex Iwobi will join the contingents of Nigeria players who has played for Tofees in the past.
