After helping Leicester City to secure a valuable point against Burnley at Turf Moor on Wednesday, Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho has confirmed he love playing with former England striker Jamie Vardy, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Both of them played upfront on Wednesday against Clarets but it was Nigeria international who stole the show with a stunner to earn a point for the Foxes.
While reacting to the game, Iheanacho hailed the entire team but quickly focus on the next match.
“We're talking about the little run from Jamie Vardy and the pass from Wilf Ndidi - that was the goal for me,” explained Iheanacho. “So, it was a great goal.
“Playing with Jamie, I like playing with him. He's a runner, if you have a great runner in the team, we know we have to find him, and give him good front passes for him to finish up. I like partnering with Jamie. It's good.
We should have won the game,” he added. “It was there for us to win. I wasn't quite on for us, so we take a point.
“We’ll go back now and get reset and recover well, and get ready for the game," he said.
Leicester will face Brighton Hove Albion on Saturday as they continue the search for champions league football next season.
