EPL: Iheanacho Scores As Leicester City Thrash Fulham By Sampson Adedeji It was a good return for Nigeria's Super Eagles and Leicester City striker, Kelechi Iheanacho as he played vital role as Foxes bounced back to winning ways, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Leicester last weekend suffered a surprise home defeat to Leeds United and need to record victory in order to keep tab with the top two teams. Iheanacho proved up to the task of filling Jamie Vardy’s boots as he opened the scoring for Leicester City through a well timed header. The Nigerian striker scored his first Premier League goal of the season to set City on their way to three points and James Austin added the second goal and secure maximum point for the away side. “I thought that the two goals were real goals of quality,” Rodgers told LCFC TV. “We knew this was going to be a real test for us coming to here. “I think if you look at Fulham’s results over the last 10 games or so, they’ve been really strong, in particular [against] the big teams, and did very well against them. “We knew we had to play well, and I thought in the first half, we scored two brilliant goals – different types of goals," Brendan Rodgers said.
