EPL: Iwobi down with hamstring injury

Alex Iwobi has suffered a hamstring injury in Everton’s home game against Arsenal at the Goodison Park.

The skilful midfielder joined the Tofees last summer from the Gunners in a record breaking deals and he has become a regular with the team.

The 23-year-old, who was making his 16th Premier League appearance of the season, was replaced by Cenk Tosun in the 11th minute of the keenly contested encounter.

Everton will be hoping the injury is not serious as he services is required throughout the busy period .

Meanwhile their new coach Carlos Ancelotti is expected to charge of his first game on Boxing day
