EPL: Iwobi scores in Everton win

Nigeria's Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi scored for Everton FC for the second consecutive time in one week.

BSN reports that Iwobi who scored against Lincoln City in the Carabao cup during the week was again on target on Sunday as the Tofees secured their first win of the season against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It was Brazilian international Richarlison that opened the scoring in the 5th minute before Saiss brought Wolves back into the game in the 9th minute.

Iwobi proved his mettle in the 12th minute by netting the second goal and gave the home side a lead going into the locker room.

Jimenez leveled again for Wolves in the 75th minute before Iwobi sustained an injury and was replaced in the 76th minute by Bernard.

Richarlison completed his brace when he scored the winning goal for Everton in the 80th minute to secure maximum points for the Tofees.
