EPL: Lookman Will Be A Big Player For Us - Parker
By Sampson Adedeji
Despite missing a penalty that supposed to have secured a point for Fulham FC in the last match, team head coach, Scott Parker has reiterated confidence in the ability of Nigeria born forward Ademola Lookman, BSNSports.com.ng reports
Ademola lost a penalty in the club last match while trying to equal penalty a decision that has drawn criticism on him.
Ahead of Fulham clash Everton clash this weekend, Parker said Ademola has put it behind him and remained focused ahead of the match.
“As you can imagine, Ade was bitterly disappointed, like we all were,” he explained. “There’s no hiding from that. But, like most things in life and certainly in football, you need to learn from those mistakes and move on.
“We move on very quickly, practise, get better. Like I said after the game, Ade’s going to be vitally important for us this year.
“He’s going to be a big player for us, which we’re going to need, and I’ve got no doubt from what I’ve seen from him in a short space of time that he wants to get better, he wants to improve.
“He spends a lot of time on his game, so I’ve seen that over the last 10 days.
You’d expect me to say that of course, but it’s the reality and it’s the truth," he said.
