EPL: Manchester United confirm Solskjaer as permanent manager
After much deliberations, Manchester United has confirmed interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a permanent manager on a 3-year deal.
Solskjaer was hired on an interim basis in late 2018 after the sacking of Jose Mourinho due to poor performance.
The club hierarchy appointed him on Thursday through Ed Woodward confirmed the deal.
"This all means that Ole is the right person to take Manchester United forward. The fans and everyone at the club are behind him as he looks to take us where we need to be and build the next stage of our history,
Ed Woodward: “More than just performances and results, Ole brings a wealth of experience, both as a player and as a coach, coupled with a desire to give young players their chance and a deep understanding of the culture of the club," he stated.
Since joining Utd Solskjaer has recorded 14 wins in 19 premier league matches and is hoping to continue his amazing in the Uefa Champions League when they face Barcelona next week.
