EPL: Ndidi Rues Leicester City Champions League Miss

Nigeria's Super Eagles Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has stated that he was disappointed on the way the season panned out for his club but hope that the future will be better, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Foxes finished the season outside the top 4 after spending 312 day in the top 4, losing 2-0 to Manchester United at home in the final day.

Ndidi expressed his views via his social media handle on Tuesday and stated the their focus now is next season.

" We are a bit disappointed to finish 5th. But overall.

It was a great season!! I want to first of all thank our fans for being with us even when the stadiums were empty due to the pandemic, it was indeed a season to learn from and grow into next season thanks for support," he wrote.

Leicester City will campaign in the UEFA Europa League next season.
