  EPL: Parker Pleased To Have Maja By Sampson Adedeji Manager of the English Premier League side Fulham FC, Scott Parker has said is pleased to have Nigeria's Super Eagles striker Josh Maja in his team, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The Cottager captured the Nigeria international on the deadline day of the winter transfer window in January on loan from Bordeaux. Maja played for Sunderland between 2016 to 2019 before he departed for French Lique One side Girondin Bordeaux. Ahead of the match day 22 of the league against Leicester City, Parker believed acquisition of Maja will improve the team attack. "Deadline day brings drama. I'm very pleased with the signing of Josh [Maja]. He’s young with big potential and he’s a good finisher. We tried to do other bits but competing with Everton was a challenge," he said Maja scored 9 goals in 45 appearances for Bordeaux and is expected to return back to France at the end of the season.
